With its picturesque locale, it offers visitors not just a place to eat but a chance to enjoy the serene beauty of the surrounding gardens.

The cafe shines with a menu that showcases a thoughtful selection of dishes, perfect for all palates. Although some reviews mention occasional limitations in the menu choices, visitors can still expect quality refreshments like their hearty pie of the day, complemented by crispy chips, or simpler, satisfying options such as sandwiches, scones, and paninis. Each dish is prepared with care, ensuring great flavours that make every bite enjoyable. Whether you're popping in for a quick coffee and cake or a leisurely lunch, the food here is bound to please your taste buds.

The ambience inside the cafe is enhanced by its proximity to the historical Madingley Hall and beautifully manicured gardens, allowing guests to bask in the serenity of their surroundings. It's no wonder that many visitors feel a sense of calm and joy when dining here, a sentiment echoed in Emma's review praising the tranquility of the cafe after a visit to the American War Cemetery.

However, it's important to note from the reviews that the cafe may experience occasional busy days, particularly on weekends, which could affect menu availability as mentioned by 'Untruenorth.' A bit disconcerting to see people of pensionable age rushing to change their seats ahead of parents with toddlers.

Loved staying here. Our room was a accessible room and very spacious. Plus wide doors.

Attached to the lovely Madingley Hall, but temper cafe expectations: open 10-4 on the Sunday we visited, but “brunch” was only 10-12, and our sarnie/scone/panino choices (having arrived just after 12) were down to what was left in the chiller. Grub/coffee was good however.

Had taken a friend to visit the American war cemetery and came here for lunch. I imagine when the weather is good and you can eat out on the terrace it would be lovely. It was quiet when we came and we ate inside. Had pie of the day and chips. Then coffee and cake. Both good. Madingley Hall and gardens is a special place. Recommended.
